Melior Verdejo - 2014

2014: 2014 was characterised by a rainy and mild winter, followed by a hot spring, with an absence of rainfall and a degree of drought. Dry and hot summer, which brought forward the ripening process at least seven days compared to a normal year. Balanced final ripening, with the harvest extending throughout September.

The Wine:
Melior Verdejo is a cool and elegant wine. It has a pale straw-yellow colour with greenish hues and is a clean wine notable for its brightness. Its aromas are intense, sharp and elegant; fruity tones from the tropical range in harmony with floral notes of white flowers and scents of hay and fresh grass. On the palate it has a medium structure in excellent harmony with a calibrated acidity that lends notable freshness, with an elegant fruit sensation and a smooth bitterness at the finish.
